You get to choose the TUMB's Mardi Gras Repertoire!
The Tulane University Marching Band wants you to help pick one of our Mardi Gras songs this year! The TUMB staff have selected three potential songs to play for the 2019 Mardi Gras season, and your generous donations will help increase the chance of your favorite song to be performed on the parade route!
HOW IT WORKS
Each Donation Reward level earns doubloons for your favorite song. Each song will be represented by a different doubloon color - green, blue, or silver.
The three songs that you can vote for are:
- "Carnival Time" by Al Johnson
- "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen
- "No Tears Left to Cry" by Ariana Grande
In early January, the TUMB will host a livestreamed ceremony where all of the doubloons earned will be put into a grab bag. One doubloon will be picked randomly out of the grab bag that will determine the winning song.
The more doubloons earned for your favorite song, the higher chance it has of winning!
Why donate?
It takes a lot of energy to march in a 5 to 7 mile parade!
All proceeds for the Mardi Gras Doubloon Contest will help with food and water costs during our 2019 Mardi Gras season.
